Client Growth Executive
Learn what works. Build your book. Grow into the person who builds what works next.
ChartLocal has spent more than a decade helping thousands of businesses grow.
Now we're turning that experience into Navigational Growth Plans — ChartLocal's version of a growth playbook — and building a business-development team capable of taking them to market.
We're looking for relationship builders who want to learn, execute and eventually lead.
Location: Fully Remote — Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States
The role
We aren't handing you a product sheet and telling you to figure it out.
Successful Client Growth Executives work alongside experienced marketers and business leaders to learn:
- Who to target
- What problems matter
- How to open the conversation
- What questions to ask
- How to qualify opportunities
- How to present the strategy
- How pricing works
- How campaigns are delivered
- How performance is measured
- How clients are retained and expanded
Then you apply the system. Over time, the expectation is increasing independence.

For Client Growth Executives, The Builder’s Code means learning the system, owning your outcomes and becoming increasingly capable of contributing to the system itself.
The Builder's Code
How We Build
Our growth model depends on talented people. It also depends on how we work together.
The Builder's Code defines the six principles behind how we serve clients, build systems, develop Navigational Growth Plans and work with each other.
- 01
We own the outcome.
Ownership means seeing it through, not simply passing it along.
- 02
We build it once. We make it repeatable.
The value of great work multiplies when others can repeat it.
- 03
We measure what matters.
Being busy is not the same as building value.
- 04
We leave things better.
Every interaction is an opportunity to make something better.
- 05
We tell the truth early.
Trust is built by telling the truth, especially when the truth is difficult.
- 06
We win together.
Our greatest contributions make the entire team stronger.
We are builders.
We build businesses. We build relationships. We build systems. We build each other.
We believe that every person has the responsibility and opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.
Our culture is defined by what we do, the decisions we make, the responsibilities we accept and the standards we uphold.
These are the six principles we build by.
01 — We own the outcome.
We take responsibility for getting things finished, not merely completing our assigned tasks. When something goes wrong, we identify the problem, communicate it and help resolve it.
What this looks like
We follow through on our commitments. We take responsibility for the next step, ensure handoffs are complete, and verify that the intended result was achieved. When we encounter a problem outside our responsibility, we help get it to the right person rather than ignoring it.
02 — We build it once. We make it repeatable.
Every successful project is an opportunity to develop a process, create a reusable asset or improve a system. We do not unnecessarily reinvent work that can become repeatable.
What this looks like
We document what works, standardize recurring processes, and automate repetitive work when it makes economic sense. We create clear instructions, reusable resources, and reliable systems that allow others to succeed without depending on the original creator.
03 — We measure what matters.
Activity is not achievement. We focus on client outcomes, financial performance, quality and meaningful operational improvements.
What this looks like
We define success before we begin. We establish meaningful goals, measure our progress, and use evidence to make decisions. We consider the financial and operational consequences of our work, acknowledge when results fall short, and adjust our approach accordingly.
04 — We leave things better.
A conversation, campaign, client relationship, process or handoff should be better because we were involved.
What this looks like
We look for opportunities to improve the quality, clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness of our work. We address small problems before they become larger ones. We consider how our decisions affect the next person, the client, and the company as a whole.
05 — We tell the truth early.
Bad news does not get better with age. We raise problems while they can still be fixed. We do not hide mistakes, manufacture results or promise outcomes we cannot substantiate.
What this looks like
We communicate clearly and directly, even when the conversation is uncomfortable. We distinguish facts from assumptions, acknowledge mistakes, and raise concerns before they become crises. We make realistic commitments and communicate promptly when circumstances change.
06 — We win together.
We share knowledge, give credit, create redundancy and help others succeed. Nobody should become indispensable by keeping information to themselves.
What this looks like
We share information openly, recognize the contributions of others, and help teammates develop their abilities. We document critical knowledge, create reliable backups, and collaborate across departments. We measure our success not only by what we accomplish individually, but also by what we enable others to achieve.
Our Shared Commitment
The Builder's Pledge
- I will take responsibility for my work and the outcomes I influence.
- I will build things that last, share what I learn and help others succeed.
- I will measure my contribution by the value I create, not merely the effort I expend.
- I will speak the truth, address problems and continually improve what I touch.
- I will respect the people who depend on me and recognize the contributions of those around me.
- I am a builder.
- And I will leave things better than I found them.
The Builder's Test
Six questions to ask when reviewing a project, contribution or important decision.
- 1Did we take responsibility for the outcome?
- 2Did we create something reusable or improve an existing system?
- 3Can we demonstrate meaningful results?
- 4Did we leave something better than we found it?
- 5Did we communicate the truth clearly and promptly?
- 6Did we strengthen the team and enable others to succeed?
